Chris Kaman is a beast and Alrich will likely not be anything close to him. Never will Aldrich see $10 million per year and he wont come close to the 22 and 9 Chris Kaman is averaging at this moment. Chris Kaman is an All Star and one of the best players in the NBA.

Great shot blocker, long arms, big body, fills space, can rebound and run, good coordination but put backs will be his game at the next level. Joel Pryzbilla is a fair comparison.

He will be more productive. I know a couple of other player are on better teams but it won’t have matter any way. Hill can play multi positions. From 1 thur 4. The others can’t do that. 44 is the Man!

Since Aldrich is white, he can’t possibly be good. Is that what it means to be the “latest in a long line of white stiffs”? If athleticism is the only thing of importance in the NBA, why bother mentioning free-throw form? Even if you don’t care about the face mask, why not address the 80% free-throw percentage? I know that’s not exceptional for a guard, but for a true center that is a Godsend to NBA GMs. You also don’t address Aldrich’s shot blocking ability. Tallying a triple double in an NCAA tournament game is pretty impressive for a limited, non athletic white boy like Aldrich is pretty impressive, right? You watch games, so you did know he tallied 10 blocks in that game, right? I mean, it was the sixth triple double in tournament history, so it happens all the time, but it still might mean he has some ability. As for Chris Kaman, please. There is no way to compare Aldrich’s upside with Kaman. Being a good post player is all about footwork and positioning. Aldrich has been coached by top level coaches for two years and his game has improved dramatically. Kaman has been in the league since 2003 and is mediocre at best. If he wasn’t playing for the lowly Clippers, he’d be a career backup. Stick to what you know Matt. I don’t know what that is, but when you find it, stick to it.

I do a lot of research and have been watching Cole Aldrich’s ineptitude on offense for the past two years. Aldrich is lucky he did not face Blake Griffin the past two seasons due to injuries as BG would have severely hurt Aldrich’s draft stock.

He’s a huge young man but is noway better than Chris Kaman and probably will never sign a lucrative long term contract like the Kaveman has.

I do not care about his plastic face mask and he is nary an athlete which is the most important part of being an NBA player.

He is the latest in a long line of white stiffs and I do not read “baller” magazines, I watch games.

Thanks for reading.

Most drafts have him in the top 5. His free throw form may LOOK awful, but he hit 80% of his freebies. Not bad for a 6’11 sophomore shooting through a plastic face mask for about a month of the season. He’s also a ridiculous shot blocker. Do some research instead of just picking out the top youngsters out of the baller magazines.

I’m the editor and Matt did have Kentucky, used an older template from mock drafts past and missed changing it in that column. Good eye, have it corrected.

Seems like this one just finished.

I think you have Monroe, Favors, and even Lance Stephenson too low. Favors will be a top 4 pick I think.

Also Lance Stephenson will be proving himself and all the people who worry about his off court stuff wrong this year I think. If he puts up really big numbers at Cinci and stays out of trouble he could be a top 5 pick too. His talent is incredible.
