Watch: 15-Yr Old Girl Beats Stephen Curry in 3 Point Shooting Contest

On the night before the NBA’s 3 point shootout at All-Star Weekend in Toronto, Stephen Curry took an unexpected hit to his confidence. A 15-year old girl named ‘Rachel’ from Toronto, Ontario, was lucky enough to play against her idol in a mini three point shootout. To Curry’s surprise Rachel had a strong start to her first rack, and eventually beat him 20-18. That’s right, a 15-year old girl beats Stephen Curry. And he didn’t try and confiscate the tape, like Lebron at his Nike camp.

We are pretty sure Curry’s reign as one of the greatest shooters of all time is in tact, but this young girl Rachel has got to feel good about this little souvenir. This reminded me of the time Devin Harris got shook by a London streetballer….

What we didn’t anticipate was Kevin Durant hitting a smooth game winner the night after the mixtape was complete, and/or Steph Curry having a number of highlights in his ridiculous 36 point first half last night. Not only did he score 56 points in a game for a career high, but he did it right after scoring 48 points the previous game. In fact DeMarcus Cousins became the first player in the last 30+ years to score over 45 points and 10 rebounds in back to back games. We felt his week deserved the THD video mixtape treatment….

Justise Winslow Is Traveling This Holiday Season

In the third quarter of the Pistons 93-92 win over the Heat in Miami last night Justise Winslow displayed some of his impressive athleticism in cocking it back on the fast break and dunking on Pistons forward Ersan Illyasova in the third quarter.

He also took five steps, yes five steps, to get there…

Call it an early Christmas present for Winslow from the officiating crew.

On a side note, poor Ersan Illyasova has been getting nothing but a huge helping of coal this holiday season as he has now been posterized three times in the past 10 days.
